Marr Cellars is a small, husband-and-wife-owned boutique winery tucked away in the beautiful Chehalem Mountain Range on Parrett Mountain in Sherwood, Oregon. Specializing in Rhône-style wines like Viognier, Grenache, Grenache Rosé, and GSM, each bottle is handcrafted with care in small, unique lots inspired by the Rhône region’s charm. Our limited production means every bottle is a rare treat, perfect for sharing with friends, enjoying with family, or savoring in peaceful moments. Rob, our winemaker, has over 11 years of experience, starting with humble experiments—sometimes even fermenting grapes in the bathtub. In 2019, we moved from Colorado to Oregon to start our own vineyard. Our family, 3 generations- hand-planting our vines in 2021, including Pinot and Chardonnay. The property is alive with wildlife—deer, bobcats, coyotes, owls, hawks, raccoons, and even the occasional bald eagle. There have also been cougar and bear sightings in the area. As lifelong animal and nature lovers, this is our perfect sanctuary. Come enjoy a glass of wine with us in the vineyard or out on the deck!

Rob Marr started making wine at home in 2015. He has made many varieties but decided to focus on Rhone style. His love of wine started in his early 20's enjoying wine and food pairings at holiday gatherings. The passion for wine making was ignited when he went to Napa in 2015 and learned all about the art of winemaking

Owners Rob and Debbie Marr meet in 2003 and married in 2006. Their first date was on a hike to the mountains. This has inspired the mountains on the logo. They love to travel, go camping, cook, garden and of course drink amazing wine! Their 20 year journey has taken them on many adventures. They are most proud of their two daughters. To celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary, they released their first estate bubbly!

Rob and Debbie have two wonderful girls that keep them busy with sports and other activities. Makaela will be graduating June 2026 and our First Estate wine will be dedicated to her and her journey as she rises up and moves on to college.

The Vineyard was planted in 2021. We have 975 vines. There is Pinot and Chardonay grapes. Our property is home to many types of wildlife including 10+ white tail deer, a bobcat family, coyotes, owls, hawks, raccoons and occasionally bald eagles. There has been cougar and beer sightings in the area as well. We grew up loving animals and nature, and this is the perfect sanctuary for us!!

We have 4 Nigerian Dwarf goats (Maple, Cedar, Lily and Oreo) and chickens. We have the best farm fresh eggs as they free range in about an acre of forest land. The goats are Debbie's pets (Outside dogs) They are scared of the rain (too bad they live in the PNW) On nice days you will find them jumping and headbutting each other while sunning themselves on their wooden platforms.

This is us. This is our brand.
Our logo is elegant, yet simple. It depicts an elegant drawing of mountains and grape vines intertwined. However it is simplistic with being only black and white with a splash of color. That is us as well. We like nice things, but we’re very simplistic. We are the neighbor next-door. We are a working family that enjoys classy things but don’t need anything over the top. We want to cater to our customers that enjoy a great wine at a good price.
Our logo represents our marriage. Our first date was on a hike in the mountains of Colorado. We planted a vineyard on our property here in Sherwood Oregon. Our logo shows where we have come. Almost 20 years of marriage and our story is still growing and intwined.
This is us… Marr Cellars.
