Marr Cellars is a small, husband-and-wife-owned boutique winery nestled in the picturesque Chehalem Mountain Range on Parrett Mountain in Sherwood, Oregon. Our journey with wine began ten years ago in Napa, where we discovered the magic of wine—the way a single glass can transport you back to unforgettable experiences, whether in a tasting room, at a dinner table, or among friends. This passion blossomed into a dream: to craft our own wines once our children were grown.
Starting with humble experiments—sometimes even fermenting grapes in the bathtub—we took the leap in 2019 and moved from Colorado to Oregon, intent on establishing our own vineyard. Together, we hand-planted 1,000 vines in 2021, pouring our hearts, countless hours, and hard work into every row. After three years of nurturing, we celebrated our first harvest in 2024. Every step has been slow, intentional, and built with our own hands—an ongoing labor of love.
At Marr Cellars, we handcraft each bottle with meticulous attention to detail, producing small, unique lots inspired by the distinctive style of the Rhône region. Our wines are a symphony of flavors, carefully composed to delight both connoisseurs and casual enthusiasts. From the robust intensity of Syrah to the delicate bouquet of Viognier and the fruit-forward charm of Grenache rosé, each wine tells its own story, woven from the very location where the vines were grown. Our commitment to limited production means every bottle is a rare and exclusive experience, imbued with the passion, precision, and authenticity that define us.
We are a family of wine lovers—neighbors next door, working hard yet enjoying the simple elegance of life. Our logo, combining mountains and grapevines, represents our journey: from our first date hiking in the mountains of Colorado, to planting our vineyard in Oregon, to nearly twenty years of marriage, growth, and dreams intertwined.
Our hope is that with every sip, our wines help you reconnect to your own cherished memories and experiences, just as they do for us. Whether enjoyed with friends, shared at the table with family, or savored in quiet reflection, Marr Cellars invites you to celebrate life’s moments—both big and small—with a glass crafted by nature, perfected by hand.
